Well, well, not sure what we have here exactly but I bet you can surmise I was a little taken by the Easter holiday this weekend. This was saturday before, and I've been itching to throw this denim, cardi, studded heel ensemble together. Twas all in the easter spirit, but on this little garden walk I just couldn't help but channel Alice. And by Alice, I mean after she's matured, moved to the city and finds herself escaping from her frantic adult life, into the nearest urban garden reminiscing of a simpler time. Hence, the bunny wayfarers and bendy bunny. It's never too late to practice playtime again.
As for my outstanding absence from nachobarbie, two words: fashion show. Every fashion design student's nightmare, depending on how much love you put into it. The more love, the more deathly, which seems to be my inevitable choice. It's really the amount of work pre-show and your entire world turning upside down before the deadline, but the gratification of actually getting it done and seeing it all come together on stage with your models balances out the entire experience. And don't fear, Basia Poletovvska SS11 will be up for purchase soon! Photos to come...
